Hurst Show and Country Fayre
Hurst Show and Country Fayre is a unique annual event held in the centre of Hurst, Berkshire,
during two full days in June.
Established more than 30 years ago,
the 2014 show is over the weekend of June 28th and 29th.
Brand new attractions will include
a classic car and motorbike show,
a food fair,
a dog show,
and Hurst's own
Magic Circle magician,
Last year's show was a bumper one for numbers of visitors, who said it was the best show yet.
They liked the friendly and rural, non-commercial atmosphere.

It is a true village show that takes its support
from all members of the local community
and giving back generous support to
within the village and the local community.
The 2014 show promises a packed programme of
tug of war,
and a myriad of other attractions.
The colourful cacophony of side stalls,
face painting, bouncy castle,
bar and refreshments
will ensure wall to wall entertainment for all the family.
The organisers are planning a spectacular weekend
so do come on both days so you don't miss any of the fun!
Over the years the Show has raised many thousands of pounds,
mainly for local charities.
St Nicholas Primary School
has always been the principal beneficiary
receiving around half the proceeds.
The show is also a stalwart supporter of the local scout and guide movements,
the Wokingham Red Diamonds Sports for the disabled,
St Nicholas Pre-School,
Hurst Village Halls
and St Nicholas Church restoration fund.

2014 Horse Events
Non-competitive horse displays and demonstrations, including the Hurst Riders Club musical ride,
will continue to be big attractions at the 2014 Hurst Show and Country Fayre.
Horse and pony competition classes are transferring to a new event, run by
Hurst Riders Club,
at Lines Road, Hurst on July 5th and 6th.
